Capital Campaigns
As the needs of the Greater Hartford community evolve and diversify, so too does our response. Since our humble beginnings, we have added to, changed and improved our campus facilities to accommodate new residents and programs and to create an environment that best serves the needs of older adults and the underserved poor.
Over the years, our capital campaigns have drawn the support of benefactors, families and friends of the Sisters of Mercy who share our vision to enhance the quality of lives for an aging population. A cornerstone on the original building of Saint Mary Home reads "1885," the first of many such inscriptions placed around our campus that traces the history of our growth. Undoubtedly, the future will unveil additional dedications that speak to our mission of mercy and service.
