Pastoral care at The McAuley is centered on compassionate listening, acceptance, creative celebrating and trust. By respecting each of our residents for the dignity they possess as human beings, and by giving them the spiritual support they need to overcome their personal obstacles, we help our residents enjoy a fulfilling and rewarding life.

Because all faiths are welcomed and celebrated at The McAuley, we provide the services and ceremonies of many different faiths right on our campus. We also help our clients connect to the faith-based organizations in our local community.

One of the aspects that makes The McAuley unique is this interfaith dimension. The McAuley serves a generation that has been divided by denomination. By celebrating the unique spirit and beliefs of each resident, The McAuley fosters both interest and acceptance among all residents. Residents become educated and enriched by other traditions –- and many times, their spirits are healed in the process.
