Participants in the monthly Alzheimer’s and Dementia Family Caregiver Support Group meeting at Saint Mary Home and those who are interested in learning more about this network are invited to a Candle Lighting Ceremony and Thanksgiving Social on Thursday, November 13.  The event will take place at Saint Mary Home ,

in West Hartford , in the Center 1 Dining Room at 4:30 p.m.. 

 

 

 

 

National Commemorative Candle Lighting is a nationwide event sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America to remember and honor Americans who have been or will be affected by Alzheimer’s Disease.  Local organizations like Mercy Community Health hold inspirational ceremonies in their communities on November 13, uniting individuals from coast to coast as they light “candles of care.”
