Washington Barella, an internationally-acclaimed solo oboist, will perform at The McAuley's April 23 "Lunch and Learn" program at 3:00 p.m. in the Auditorium.  Mr. Barella's performances have spanned three continents.  In the U.S., he has been featured with the Philharmonia Virtuosi and the National Repertory Orchestra.  In Brazil, he has been a soloist with the Rio de Janeiro Radio Orchestra and several premier symphonies.  He has also performed with his own SWR Sinfonieorchestrer and the Bavarian Radio Symphony in Germany.  His performances have been broadcast on National Public Radio and New York's WQXR.
