Chapel to Offer Commemorative Candle Lighting Ceremony November 15

In conjunction with the Alzheimer Foundation of America's National Commemorative Candle Lightings, the Archbishop John F. Whealon Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy at Saint Mary Home will be host of one of the Connecticut events on Sunday, November 15.  All are welcome to attend the 10:00 a.m. Liturgy, which will be celebrated by Father Norman Brockett and will remember in a special way those whose lives are affected by Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia.

Local organizations hold inspirational ceremonies in their communities on the same day, uniting individuals from coast to coast as they light "candles of care."

National Commemorative Candle Lighting is an annual event, held each November in recognition of National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month.
