Saint Mary Home Positions

Therapeutic Recreation:
 
If creativity and resourcefulness are among your professional strengths, here’s an excellent opportunity to apply those skills in the Therapeutic Recreation Department at Saint Mary Home! We currently have a temporary position Therapeutic Recreation. We’re looking for someone with the vision, inspiration and resourcefulness to develop and execute programs to meet our resident needs. Potential candidates must have 5 years experience in  therapeutic recreation in a nursing home/geriatric setting, BS degree, TRD and CTR.   
 
 
 
Nursing:
 
  • RN Nurse Supervisor
    (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift) -

    The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for taking reasonable steps to ensure staff promotes and delivers a level of care that meets and exceeds resident's expectations.
     
  • Per Diem Registered Nurse -
    The Registered Nurse is an active participant of the interdisciplinary care team and leads the team to ensure that resident's individual needs are met; directs and supervises the care provided by clinical staff on each assigned unit.
     
  • Per Diem License Practical Nurse -
    The License Practical Nurse is an active participant of the interdisciplinary team and works under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager/Supervisor to deliver resident care in a manner that meets or exceeds the resident's expectations.

Dietary:

  • Per Diem Waitstaff/Trayline Workers -
    Responsible for efficiently serving the residents in the dining rooms while adhering to specified dietary requirements and special requests.

The McAuley Positions
 
Nursing:
  • Per Diem Assisted Living Registered Nurse -
    Responsible for providing care to residents enrolled in the assisted living services agency; provide health promotion, disease prevention, resident teaching and wellness for residents.
     
  • Per Diem Assisted Living License Practical Nurse -
    Responsible for providing care to residents enrolled in the assisted living services agency and contributing to the coordination of care along the health care continuum.

Mercy Community HomeCare Positions

 
Nursing:
  • RN Case manager - Mercy Community HomeCare is a small, mission based agency located in West Hartford. We are currently looking for a full time or part time RN Case Manager to assist us with our growing caseload.

     

    If you are looking for a position where you are an important part of a dedicated team, and where patient care truly comes first, Mercy will be the perfect fit for you for 2008!

     

    We offer competitive salary and benefits, including 403B. A minimum of one year of medical surgical or long term care is required.

 

  • Per Diem Primary Care Nurse -
    Within a family-centered approach, responsible for providing skilled nursing or other therapeutic service in the home or other appropriate place; promotes health and prevents both mental and physical illness; helps clients obtain other necessary community services.
     
  • Per Diem Home Health Aide -
    Within a family-centered approach, responsible for providing personal hygiene care to ill or handicapped patients in the home or other appropriate setting; follows the care plan and reports to the Primary Care Nurse and/or the nurse designated as the Home Health Supervisor.
     
  • Per Diem Homemaker/Companion -
    Within a family-centered approach, responsible for providing companionship and homemaking duties in the client's home or other appropriate setting; follow a care plan and reports to the Homemaker Supervisor.
